"I CARE! Hard to explain to someone who has no clue. It's a...daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside. Please put this as your status for at least 1 hour if you or someone you know has an invisible illness (Crohn's, PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Diabetes, Graves Disease, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, MS, ME, Arthritis, Cancer, HEART DISEASE, EPILEPSY, Autism,M.D., Histiocytosis etc.) " Never judge what you don't understand, I know which of my friends will copy and paste. I'm your friend"
I HATE these status updates. They are patronising and make the people who post them look like self-centred idiots. If you actually care, then do something - not just post these things to make yourself look /feel good.
If you actually cared about me, and my illness and the problems & difficulties it causes me, you'd act like a friend. You'd talk to me, spend time sitting with me when I can leave the hose, help me make it to the shops this week, make an effort to understand why I have to cancel again - not just start ignoring me.
So stop copy and pasting stupid status updates with out thinking, and actually act like someones friend. An email or text doesnt take much longer and will actually help someone.
